SUMMER HOP 🌱 SOCIAL
Beer Social at Rooster’s Taproom with Live Entertainment
On Thursday 4th July, Harrogate-based Women On Tap CIC will host a Beer Social in the upstairs event space at Rooster’s Taproom at Hornbeam Park - and we are showcasing some incredible Yorkshire talent!
The event is open to anyone who loves beer and has an interest in what Women On Tap CIC is all about, and those who would like to come and find out more and enjoy a beer or two with like-minded folk. It’s NOT only open to women - all are welcome.
Entertainment has been specially curated for the event. First up this is in the shape of thought-provoking spoken word from the legendary poet, Jem Henderson - genderqueer poet from Leeds and winner of a Creative Future award for underrepresented writers.
A spot of live music for your listening pleasure will follow. Waihuka Matekuare (Wai) is a Singer Songwriter from New Zealand, living in Knaresborough, and Amber Ra is a singer and songwriter exploring Soul, Spiritual, Jazz and Pop music. Get ready for keys vocals, groovy drum beats and some sacred original mantras!
Doors will open at 5pm. Entertainment will run from 5.30-7.30 and the social will continue afterwards downstairs in a reserved area of the main taproom space, which is open until 10pm.
Tickets are just £5 and include your first drink and a WOT pin badge. The event is open to all - not just women. BOOK NOW.
The social the concluding part of a one-day programme of talks and events presented by Women On Tap CIC - a social enterprise dedicated to championing women in the beer industry.
